Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb discussed with the Omani Minister of Heritage and Tourism, Salem bin Mohammed Al-Mahrouqi, the encouragement of all sectors, including tourism, during his visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
During the visit, a number of joint tourism initiatives and programs were launched, aiming to attract international tourists and citizens and residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, under the umbrella of the Gulf Tourism Strategy 2023-2030, which was approved by the leaders of the GCC countries during last December under the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
At the end of the visit, the Minister of Tourism expressed his thanks and appreciation to his Omani counterpart for the generous hospitality and warm reception, inviting him to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
