Baghdad, The Iraqi parliamentary delegation, headed by Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, discussed with its Kuwaiti counterpart, headed by Muhammad Al-Mahan, unifying efforts in regional and international forums and strengthening cooperation frameworks.

The media office of the Deputy Speaker of Parliament stated: "During the meeting, on the sidelines of the thirteenth session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, held in the Turkish state of Antalya, joint parliamentary relations were discussed, stressing the importance of strengthening parliamentary cooperation frameworks between the two countries, and agreeing to unify positions and efforts in developing Parliamentary work within the framework of the work of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, especially with regard to the presidency of (Iraq) over the Committee on Political Affairs, and the deputy presidency of the Assembly, and in various regional and international forums.

The Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation blessed Iraq for its success in hosting the 25th Gulf Championship, wishing it prosperity and stability and continued progress and success.
