The Minister of Interior meets a number of Ambassadors of Arab and Foreign countries in Iraq and discusses with them prospects for joint cooperation

Baghdad Minister of Interior, “Othman Al-Ghanimi”, met with a number of Ambassadors of Arab and Foreign countries in Iraq, and discussed with them prospects for joint cooperation.

A Foreign Ministry statement said that Al-Ghanimi met today, Thursday, the Ambassador of the Syrian Republic to Iraq, “Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah”, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, “Amdi Fadloul Bari”, the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy, “Maurizio Cricante”, and the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, “Walid Muhammad Ismail.”

The statement added that the Minister discussed with the Ambassadors individually the strengthening of cooperation and coordination between Iraq and their countries, stressing the importance of permanent communication and striving to form strong relations with various Arab and friendly countries.

Al-Ghanimi praised the role of the governments of these countries in helping Iraq in various fields, especially security, and the exchange of experiences and information.

For their part, the Ambassadors valued the great achievements made by Iraq, especially in defeating terrorism and crime, and the interest in establishing strong relations with its brothers and friends.
