Syria, UAE discuss means to boost joint cooperation in various domains

Abu Dhabi, Syria and the UAE have discussed the bilateral relations and means to enhance and develop them in various domains.

That came during a meeting held on Monday between Syrian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Ghassan Abbas, and Sheikh Muslim Bin Salem Bin Ham al-Ameri, Member of the National Consultative Council in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bin Ham Group.

Both sides shed light on the depth of the bilateral relations binding the two countries, which have created a friendly atmosphere for joint cooperation between them in various fields and contributed to strengthening joint investments.

Talks during the meeting also tackled the investment fields available in Syria in which Ben Ham group could take part in the upcoming period, especially the investment in the field of travel, tourism and hotels.

Ambassador Abbas hailed the role of the UAE government and people in supporting the Syrian people since the beginning of the war waged on Syria.

He underlined importance of strengthening cooperation between businessmen in the UAE and Syria by increasing the volume of trade exchange and establishing joint investment projects with the aim of raising the level of trade and economic cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

For his part, Sheikh al-Ameri affirmed that the leadership of the UAE at all levels is keen to enhance brotherly relations and cooperation between the two sides in order to develop economic and commercial relations and provide everything that could serve a supportive business environment and the transfer of expertise, investments and partnerships between the two sides.
