Damascus, Syria condemned in the strongest terms the criminal demolition and destruction of the Palestinian people’s properties by the Israeli occupation forces, renewing its call on the international community to assume its responsibilities, protect the Palestinian people and stop the Israeli crimes immediately.
The Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement on Monday that the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people contradict international law, the bill of human rights, the international humanitarian law, and resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and General Assembly.
The Ministry stressed Syria’s support for the Palestinian people, their right to freedom and independence, ending the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and establishing their independent state on their land, with Jerusalem (al-Quds) as its capital.
