SFD CEO Receives Mauritanian Foreign Minister

Riyadh, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad received today Mauritanian Minister for Foreign Affairs Ismael Ould Cheikh Ahmed, in the presence of Mauritanian Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Amin Al-Thahabi and Advisor to the Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Amin Ould Ahmed and other Mauritanian officials.

During the meeting, held at SFD headquarters, they discussed issues of mutual interest and existing development projects offered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s government through SFD with the aim of realizing sustainable development in Mauritania. Discussions also addressed challenges facing the development work.

The Mauritanian Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s government to contribute to and support development schemes in Mauritania through SFD.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s government, has offered, through SFD, ten grants to implement development projects in the infrastructure, water, education and health sectors, where the Fund contributed to offering 18 development loans to contribute to and implement 16 projects in various sectors in Mauritania.
