Scholars, guests of UAE President visit Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

ABU DHABI, The scholars and guests of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, a great urban landmark that has become one of the UAE's edifices.

Dr. Mohammed Matar Salem Al Kaabi, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and Mohammed Saeed Al Neyadi, Awqaf's Director-General, accompanied the scholars during the visit.

The scholars toured the mosque and praised its cutting-edge architecture, which blends the authenticity of Islamic and local heritage while staying current with building trends.

The UAE President's guest scholars prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the soul of the UAE's Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan with mercy in Paradise and hailed his achievements.

The scholars expressed their admiration for the mosque's architecture, which is regarded as a landmark that promotes civilized interaction between various cultures and serves as a reflection of our well-established Islamic civilization and the tolerance of the Islamic faith. At the end of their tour, the scholars and guests were treated to an Iftar banquet.
