Saudi-Sudanese Investment Forum Kicks Off in Khartoum

Khartoum, The Saudi-Sudanese Investment Forum started today its activities in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, which will last for two days.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation is headed by the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Abdurrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Ali bin Hassan Jaafar and a number of officials, along with Saudi businessmen and investors.

In his speech at the forum, Eng. Al-Fadhli stressed that Saudi Arabia and Sudan always seek to strengthen their economic and trade relations, in addition to developing investments.

He noted the directives of the Kingdom's government to discuss investment opportunities in the fields of energy, infrastructure, agriculture and communications.

The forum aims to consult with Saudi investors and present investment opportunities in the sectors of agriculture, livestock, minerals, oil, alternative energy and renewable energy.
