Saudi Space Commission CEO Heads Saudi Arabia’s Delegation Participating in Paris-hosted International Astronautical Congress

Paris, The CEO of the Saudi Space Commission, Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi, headed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation participating in the 73rd International Astronautical Congress in Paris being held between September 18 and 22, to highlight the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s role and innovative experience in the space sector and its future ambitions, in addition to enhance its cooperation with various international institutions in the field of space and its technologies.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in its pavilion, will review the elements that it enjoys through reviewing know-how, enriching and cultural items with the participation of the ministries of tourism and culture, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), NEOM, and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, where this participation will also contribute to acquainting visitors of the accompanying exhibition with the experience and presence of the space sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the international level, its historical interest in space and the leadership’s support to this vital sector.

With a wide international participation, the congress seeks to facilitate the communication process among stakeholders to exchange information and ideas, discuss accurate development and analyses related to relevant strategies, emerging trends in the space research field and exploration aspects, where the commission, through its participation in international events, aspires to communicate with leaders of the global space sector, including government, specialized and academic sides to enhance cooperation with them.
