Riyadh, The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture co-signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a national company specialized in organic plantation to train related farmers to raise the production in order to meet the increasing demand, as the organic products are of a great appeal for the consumers.

The MoU would provide the farmers with a backup in terms of packing, packaging and after harvest operations to best serve the organic agricultural policy's goals.

Farmers and planters from all regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are set to take advantage of such development to increase their shares in sustaining the food security.
