Saudi-Iraqi Parliamentary Friendship Committee Discusses Parliamentary Relations with Iraqi Ambassador to Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, The Saudi-Iraqi Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shura Council, chaired by the Shura Council member and Chairman of the Committee, Saleh bin Mani’ Al-Khelaiwi, has held a meeting here with Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Abdul Sattar Hadi Al-Janabi, in the presence of the members of the Parliamentary Friendship Committee.

During the meeting, Al-Khelaiwi stressed the importance of bilateral relations that unite the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iraq in various fields, especially relations at the parliamentary level between the Shura Council and the Iraqi Parliament.

They discussed a number of issues of common interest that aim at strengthening relations between the two countries, parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Iraqi parliament, and activating the role of the parliamentary friendship committees in the two councils through exchanging visits between them to serve the common interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
