Riyadh, The Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), announced that the Kingdom will host the twenty-third session of the Conference of Ministers Responsible for Cultural Affairs in the Arab World, under the auspices of Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture and Chairman of the National Committee for Education, Culture and Science.

This will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, in the city of Riyadh, in the presence of ministers and officials from 20 Arab countries as well as the Arab League, and representatives of international and regional organizations.

The session builds on the conference's theme of "Culture and the Green Future" in an effort to increase the use of cultural influences on development to create cross-sectoral policies that add value to our collective efforts to move towards a more innovative and sustainable future. This session represents an Arab contribution to a reexamination of the roles that culture plays in society.
