Riyadh, President of the Senate of Spain Ander Gil Garcia has received in Madrid a delegation of the Saudi-Spanish Parliamentary Friendship Committee led by Assaf bin Salem Abu Thaneen, within the framework of the official Shura Council delegation’s visit to the Kingdom of Spain.
During the meeting, the bilateral relations were reviewed and prospects for parliamentary cooperation between the two friendly countries were discussed, especially relations at the level of the two councils.
The meeting also dealt with a number of issues of common interest and reviewed the most prominent achievements that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has achieved in various fields within the framework of the Saudi Vision 2030.
In the context of its official visit to the Kingdom of Spain, the delegation of the delegation of the Saudi-Spanish Parliamentary Friendship Committee, led by Assaf bin Salem Abu Thaneen, met with President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Congress of Deputies of the Kingdom of Spain Pau Mari-Klose.
During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them, in addition to strengthening cooperation in the fields of parliamentary diplomacy between the Saudi-Spanish Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shura Council, and the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Congress of Deputies of the Kingdom of Spain.
