Riyadh, On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, the Chief of the General Staff, General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, attended today the inauguration of the Egypt Defense Expo (EDEX 2021). The event was patronized by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The Chief of the General Staff toured a number of pavilions of the participating countries in the exhibition, led by the pavilion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, whch is represented by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI).
On the sidelines of EDEX, General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili met with the Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Osama Askar.
During the meeting, they a discussed a number of issues of common interest, especially in the defense and military aspects between the two countries.
