Jeddah, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen condemned, in the strongest terms, in a statement issued today, the Houthi terrorist militia’s deliberate launch of a bomb-laden UAV in an attempt to target civilians and civilian objects in Jazan, praising the vigilance and professionalism of the Saudi Air Defense Forces, which managed to intercept and destroy it.

The Secretary General stressed the OIC's condemnation of the Houthi terrorist militia's ongoing launching of bomb-laden UAVs towards innocent civilians in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, considering that as "war crimes".

Al-Othaimeen reiterated the OIC's stand and solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all the measures it takes to protect its security and stability, and the safety of the citizens and residents on its territories.
