Riyadh, Minister of Education Dr. Hamad bin Mohammad Al Al-Sheikh met today with Italian Minister of Public Education Patrizio Bianchi, on the sidelines of the meeting of G20 Education Ministers in Catania, Italy.
During the meeting, they discussed areas of joint cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Italy in the educational aspects, scientific and research partnerships between the universities in the two countries, as well as the agenda for the meeting of G20 Education Ministers.
Bianchi praised the great and distinguished efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during its presidency of the G20 Summit 2020.
He added that the Kingdom' success achieved in distance education during the coronavirus pandemic a leading global model, and his country will take advantage of this model in linking the Italian regions to a single education platform, such as the “Madrasati”.
