Mexico City, Mexico's Health Ministry has reported 12,521 new, confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 815 deaths, bringing the overall number of infections since the pandemic began to 3,585,565 and the death toll to 272,580.
The ministry has previously said that the true numbers of coronavirus are likely to be much higher.
