Beirut, Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants condemned on Sunday the Israeli recent aggression on some sites south of Damascus, describing it as a terrorist act.
In a statement, the ministry expressed Lebanon’s permanent support for Syria in its confrontation of the repeated Israeli attacks, which constitute a confirmation of Israel’s aggressive policies and its interference in the affairs of the region’s countries.
The Lebanese Foreign Ministry described the Israeli attack on Damascus International Airport as a “terrorist act” targeting vital facilities in Syria.
Last Friday at dawn, Syrian air defense repelled an Israeli missile aggression that targeted some sites south of Damascus City and shot down most of the hostile missiles.
The Israeli aggression resulted in the injury of a civilian and some material damages.
