Kuwait Airways participated in the World Aviation Summit and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) 79th annual meeting held in Istanbul on June 4-6.
"We are pleased to participate in the summit which coincides with the annual general meeting of IATA in its 79th session in the largest gathering of aviation industry leaders around the world to strengthen our relations and exchange expertise with other airlines and to get familiar with the latest advancements and notable features in the aviation industry," said KA's head of delegation to the summit, Chairman Ali M. Al-Dukhan The summit discussed the latest issues and developments in the air transport and travel industry that greatly affect the future of the aviation sector, most notably the process of recovering from the repercussions of the pandemic, concluded Al-Dukhkan.
(IATA) announced last April that the demand for global travel remains strong and has achieved 90.5 percent of pre-pandemic levels.
