KSrelief’s Masam Project Dismantles 4,739 Mines in Yemen during One Week

Aden, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled, during the second week of January 2022, a total of 4,739 mines planted by the Houthi militia across Yemen, including 26 anti-personnel mines, 2,389 anti-tank mines, 2,230 unexploded ordnance and 94 explosive devices.

Since the beginning of the project, as many as 308,018 mines have been dismantled.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, seeks through the project to clear Yemeni lands of the mines that have been randomly planted by the Houthi militia causing death and injury of innocent children, women, and the elderly.
