Jeddah International Islamic Fiqh Academy Holds Symposium on Cryptocurrencies

Jeddah, A scientific symposium on cryptocurrencies started today at the headquarters of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy in Jeddah in cooperation and partnership with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai.
President of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy and advisor at the Royal Court Sheikh Dr. Salih bin Abdullah Al-Humaid inaugurated the symposium that will discuss 15 research papers with the participation of prominent Saudi university professors, Sharia scholars and economists in the Islamic world.
Sheikh Dr. Al-Humaid praised the participation of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, the strategic partner for the academy, for their cooperation with the Academy in organizing the event.
Meanwhile, Director General of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh Ahmed Al-Shaibani praised the valuable participations of scientists and researchers, noting that the Department counts a lot on its strategic partnership with the Academy so as to benefit from the scientific momentum and global research competencies that the Academy enjoys worldwide.
