Cairo, The Syrian Gymnastics player, Abdullah Tarab, won a gold medal on the vault at the International Pharaohs Cup Championship for Gymnastics, currently held in the Egyptian capital of Cairo.
Head of the Gymnastics Federation, Muhammad Habubati, told SANA that obtaining a gold medal in this championship is a new achievement for the Syrian sport in general and gymnastics sport in particular.
Egypt, Hungary, Portugal, Tunisia, Yemen, Cyprus, India, Qatar and Georgia, in addition to Syria are taking part in the tournament.
