Egyptian Ministry of culture meets Iraq’s invitation to participate in the Forum of Ancient Civilizations

Baghdad, The Iraqi Ambassador to Cairo, its permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Ahmed Nayef Rashid Al-Dulaimi, met the Egyptian Minister of Culture, Nevin Al-Kilani, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement, "The meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the cultural, heritage and civilizational field, and discussed the possibility of cooperation and partnership between Iraq and Egypt in international events and forums. "

The ambassador stressed, "the importance of the participation of the Egyptian Minister of Culture in the Forum of Ancient Civilizations in its sixth edition, to be held in Baghdad on 12/4/2022, which aims to enhance communication and exchange experiences between different peoples and cultures sharing an ancient cultural heritage."

For her part, the minister accepted Iraq's invitation to participate in the forum, and pointed out the importance of the great cultural similarity between the Egyptian and Iraqi peoples, which contributes to advancing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
