Attempt to Promote 1,016,000 Amphetamine Pills Thwarted in Taif

Riyadh, Official Spokesman of the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) Major Mohammad Al-Nujaidi said that security follow ups on networks of drug smuggling and promotion that target the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its youth, have led to thwarting an attempt to promote 1,016,000 amphetamine pills, found with two citizens.

The two citizens were arrested in Taif Governorate, and preliminary legal measures have been taken against them and duly referred to the public prosecution.
