ALECSO Issues 18 Decisions from AlUla

AlUla, The Executive Council of the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization “ALECSO” approved the formation of a committee to reconsider the Executive Council's rules of procedures headed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the membership of 9 countries: UAE, Tunisia, Sudan, Somalia, Palestine, Kuwait, Egypt, Morocco and Mauritania, due to the international variables and the requirements of the Organization's future action plan.

This came during a press conference held today in AlUla governorate at the conclusion of the ALECSO Executive Council's meeting.

On the occasion, the Chairman of the Executive Board of ALECSO, Hani bin Moqbel Al-Moqbel, extended deep thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince for the kind approval and full support being accorded by the the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to host the meeting of the Organization's Executive Council.

He also expressed thanks to Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture and Chairman of the National Committee for Education, Culture and Science for his unlimited support to hold this meeting, citing the historical civilizational value of AlUla in which the human settlement dates back to 4,000 years.
