Makkah, Acting Minister of Media Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi met here today with Palestinian Authority’s General Supervisor for Official Media Minister Ahmed Assaf.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation in media fields between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Palestine.
For his part, Assaf affirmed that the Palestinian cause has been supported by Saudi Arabia in various fields at all levels.
Casting more light on this issue, he said that Saudi Arabia has a prominent and distinctive role in politically supporting the Palestinian cause and strengthening the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, referring to Saudi Arabia's adoption of all Palestinian-cause- related decisions issued by international organizations and bodies.
The meeting comes as part of the visit of the Palestinian Authority’s General Supervisor for the official media to Saudi Arabia within the framework of strengthening relations between the two countries.
Assaf has earlier performed Umrah.
