ICESCO Appreciates Saudi Arabia, its Leadership Efforts in Serving Islam, Consolidating Moderation, Mediocrity Values

Rabat, The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) appreciated the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its leadership, in serving Islam and Muslims, supporting the science and consolidating the values of tolerance, moderation, mediocrity and co-existence among the peoples of the world. It also appreciated its role in combating extremism and terrorism, patronizing positive dialogue among the cultures and supporting the Arab and Islamic causes, at the international arenas.
The ICESCO considered the final communique, issued by the International Conference on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Efforts in Serving Islam, Muslims and Consolidating Values of Moderation, organized by Imam Mohammad bin Saud Islamic University on last Wednesday and Thursday, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, as an important document to enhance joint international action toward establishing humane values.
It also lauded the recommendations made by the participants in the conference, including an invitation to the universities, research centers and departments to continuously contribute to uprooting the extremist thought, through presenting intellectual studies, scientific research and documentary programs that show the basics of religious extremism and terrorist thought in the human societies.
