Future Parliamentary Bloc Head, former PM Fouad Siniora, indicated Saturday that the former heads of government have expressed their support for Prime Minister Saad Hariri's taking on the new government responsibility under these delicate circumstances.

"This is not to underestimate any other person who can be nominated, but on the basis of the national symbolism of Prime Minister Hariri," he said in a phone interview with the Egyptian "Channel 10" TV Station.

Siniora stated that since the resignation of PM Hariri's government, the President of the Republic was expected to call for binding parliamentary consultations, noting that the delay in this respect does not comply with what the Constitution stipulates.

"We do not have time to waste in stiff positions that do not lead to a positive outcome," he cautioned.

"Everyone is supposed to take into account the evolution of things in wake of this renaissance and rescue popular movement carried out by the young women and men of Lebanon, which has brought about great change in the country," Siniora underscored.
