Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, on Monday afternoon welcomed at the Central House Saudi Royal Court Advisor, General Supervisor of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works, Abdullah Al Rabia'ah, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Waleed Bukhari, and accompanying Saudi delegation.

Talks reportedly touched on Al Rabia'ah's mission during his visit to Lebanon, and on bilateral relations between both countries.

The meeting was also attended by the Secretary General of the Higher Relief Committee Maj. Gen. Mohammad Kheir.

Al-Rabia'ah presented PM Hariri with a shield as a token of appreciation.

On emerging, Al Rabia'ah said he was very pleased to meet with PM Hariri, conveying to him the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and the greetings of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz.

Al Rabia'ah said the visit comes as an affirmation of the deeply consolidated relations between the Saudi Kingdom and Lebanon.

"During this visit and under the guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, many programs and agreements will be implemented to support relief and humanitarian work in several areas hosting Syrian refugees, as well as to the brotherly Lebanese people," he maintained.

He said this initiative is the beginning of other multiple programs to be implemented in the future, in the hope that this strong relationship will be further consolidated not only in the humanitarian domain, but also in all spheres.
