BAGHDAD, Secretary General of the Iraqi Front for National Dialogue, leader of the National Coalition Saleh al-Mutlaq, discussed with the Kurdish delegation the joint matters of the largest parliamentary bloc.

"The Secretary-General of the National Dialogue Front, Saleh al-Mutlaq, met today with the delegation of the two Kurdish parties, the National Democratic Party, which included a number of officials, including Mullah Bakhtiar, Fadhel Mirani and Fouad Hussein."

During the meeting, al-Mutlaq referred to the political moves and efforts to crystallize a broad parliamentary weight leading to a civil government that believes in pluralism and fulfills the ambitions of the Iraqi people as a whole.

"The interests of the Iraqis and their concerns are one and the solution is to return to the demands of the nation through the need for new ideas that deal with the changes of the scene and take into account all the problems of the Iraqis in their different specter.

The two sides agreed to continue communication until the first parliamentary session.

The Kurdish delegation arrived in Baghdad yesterday to hold dialogues with political forces on alliances and the formation of the largest parliamentary bloc in preparation for the formation of the new government.
