BAGHDAD, A leader in National Coalition (Watania) Saleh al-Mutlaq discussed with the British ambassador in Iraq, John Wilkes, the political process in Iraq and the latest political developments in Iraq and the region.

A statement by the coalition quoted al-Mutlaq describing the recent parliamentary elections in the dubious game, stressing that most of the political parties have been affected by violations documented in audio and video.

Al-Mutlaq asked: "If the election is so suspicious and abuses, how will the form of parliament and the government that will result from it?

He stressed the importance that the next government should be balanced and consistent with the changes and popular aspirations, and not to be controlled by the moods of regional regimes and authoritarian parties, not to mention the military and militia forces.

Mutlaq stressed the importance of the economic file and the provision of services and quick aid to the affected areas.

For his part, the British ambassador expressed the hope that the political parties reach to form a national government representing the aspirations of the people and wishing Iraq all its components progress and prosperity.
