Minister of Water and Energy, Cesar Abi Khalil, said on Friday that the Lebanese state had been burdened with $27 billion due to wrong decisions bringing gas vessels to Lebanon.

The Minister's words came during a press conference during which he explained the technical terms of transferring LNG liquefied natural gas to Lebanon.

He pointed out that 13 international coalitions have been qualified to bid, explaining that the technical terms allow the existence of a winner or more according to the sites.

"We support the project of building the state, as well as that of law enforcement," the Minister said, reiterating the fact that oil facilities have their own law.
