Beirut, Saudi embassy in Beirut launched here today an initiative under the label: A Cup of Coffee, in order to set up a media platform to enhance reach-out and communications among Arab ambassadors accredited to Lebanon and various Lebanese media outlets, in the presence of the UAE and Egyptian ambassadors to Lebanon Hamad Al-Shamsi and Nazieh Al-Najjari, respectively, in addition to their Yemeni counterpart Abdullah Al-Dea'ais and a host of media men, especially the journalists.

Saudi Charge D'Affaires, at the embassy, Waleed bin Abdullah Bukhari addressed the reception party on the occasion, stressing the significance of inaugurating the forum here, as it is the first of its kind, in terms of the Arab world, reaffirming that among main objectives of the forum is to make a news pool source to provide media outlets with fresh news items, smoothly and at ease, in order to avoid transmitting fabricated and misleading news to the public.

The forum will be held on a monthly basis, Bukhari said, to gather several audio-visual outlets and print newspapers.
