Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, The Council of International Islamic Jurisprudence Council confirmed solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in all actions it took or may take, to achieve justice in the case of the killing of Jamal Khashoggi.

This came in a statement issued by the council, during its 23rd session, hosted by the Islamic University, in Medina, over the period from 19 to 23 Safar and under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

"Based on its confidence in the wise leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which derives from the Sharia law of Islam, establishing the principles of justice in the land and prohibit murder and bloodshed, the council reaffirms solidarity with Saudi Arabia to do justice, in the case of the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the council stated.

"The council is confident that the judicial authorities involved in the investigation of this case, will do justice and punish the aggressors, as the history of Saudi Arabia serves as a witness of the credibility of actions taken by the Kingdom, in order to achieve justice.
